This new expansion adds new curses, new artifacts, and new permanent curses. The two schools of magic presented add new effects to the game. Monster curses tend to reappear throughout the game, like the worst horror sequels, while alien curses tend to rule the world by giving points to the new ruler.
Even with this expansion you can play up to 8 players but the pieces for the seventh and eighth player are only included in Ninja VS Pygmies.
