In ancient times, along the mighty Nile, the people flourished and so did their deities. For them monuments were erected and sacrifices made, and their power grew. But power cannot be shared for long.
While, one by one, the divinities are forgotten or join together becoming new divinities, a bloody war begins for the control of the territory and for the devotion of the people. Only one deity will emerge triumphant in this new age of monotheism. Who will be among them?

Ankh: Egyptian Gods is a competitive game for 2-5 players set in the ancient Egypt of myths, during the transition from polytheism to monotheism.
Each player controls an ancient Egyptian deity and their goal is to gather enough Devotion to become the only deity of Egypt. Devotion is gained by owning Monuments erected in your honor and battling with other deities for domination of the realm.

To do this you will need to collect Followers , sacrificing them to build Monuments or to increase the Ankh powers of your deity.

As time passes, monuments may become associated with different deities, mystical Guardians will join the battle, regions of Egypt will be redivided by camel caravans, and two deities may even unite to form a new divine being, but only one (or perhaps none of them) will become the only Egyptian God!
