Love Letter is divided into several game rounds in which each player will hire allies, friends and relatives of the Princess to deliver her a letter of intent.
The card a player has in their hand represents the character that currently owns that player's letter, but this character may change during the round as the player draws and plays cards.
To win a round you must have the highest ranked card at the end of the round, or be the only player left in the round.
