Take on the role of legendary characters such as Thrall, Warchief of the Horde; Varian Wrynn, King of Stormwind; Sylvanas Windrunner, Queen Banshee of the Forsaken and many more, each with her own unique abilities and detailed sculpted plastic miniature.
Forts, temples, battlefields and more populate the large board as the heroes journey across the freezing landscape, working together to fight their way to iconic locations where they will face the growing menace of the Lich King's ghouls.
These minions attack players, hindering their progress to rid the world of its evil master. Too many ghouls that spawn in a single area summon powerful and aggressive abominations, horrific undead beasts enslaved by the power of the Lich King who will seek out the nearest hero to face him.
There will then be three dangerous businesses to complete, working as a team and combining dice rolls with Hero Cards, struggling to emerge unscathed. As players complete quests, they get ever closer to the final assault on Icecrown Citadel, where the Lich King resides.
