In addition to the new Potion tiles that you can use alongside those from the base game (see page 4), this Expansion also adds new mechanics to the game.
Scolding tokens and Reward tokens will provide you with further bonuses or penalties. The Spectral Cauldron board and wild Ingredient marbles (see page 2) will allow you to change the composition of the Ingredients in the Dispenser to trigger larger chain reactions. Finally, the Professor tiles make small changes to the heart of the game rules by adding more variety.
