You will be in the role of budding heroes, each with their own play style and skills. Together with your unlikely companions, you will embark on an unexpected adventure… an adventure told through the sixteen missions of the Blood and Flames campaign, supported by the perfectly integrated free app !
Throughout the campaign you will face undead lurking in the mists, demonic barbarians prowling the wilderness, and even more terrifying threats. With 46 3D terrains and 40 stunning hero and monster miniatures to immerse you in the game, your greatest adventure is right ahead!
SOMETHING EXTRA:
Each character can perform 3 actions each turn : 1 maneuver (move) action and 2 additional actions of their choice, including attacking an enemy (rolling attack dice and drawing on your hero's abilities and weapons), interacting with a 3D terrain or a token using the app, or use the ready action, which allows you to flip your hero board or one of your cards to its opposite side, unlocking new abilities!
The app handles everything from activating enemies and developing the scenario to opening doors and tasks like crafting and buying and selling items between missions.
At the start of a quest, you'll often start with just one tile from the map in play, but as you delve deeper into exploration the Legends of the Dark app will prompt you to place more and more tiles and terrain as you add vertical levels and 3D terrains that give Legends of the Dark an unrivaled stage presence on the tabletop.
Your goals will change from quest to quest as the story of the campaign unfolds, but enemies will never cease to stand in your way!
The Legends of Darkness app doesn't just manage your businesses; on the contrary, it provides countless options between one scenario and another, such as making and improving your own weapons and customizing your hero thanks to the experience points you will acquire!
The epic story told in the Blood and Flames campaign has its own ending, but it is only Act I of the entire story arc! Act II and Act III will arrive in the future, each in its own expansion packed with new content and a new campaign for Legends of the Dark.
